Add option to change default node color

Open pvbernhard opened this issue 6 years ago • 2 comments

It would be cool to have an option to change the default node color so all new nodes would get a particular color by default (instead of the current white).

Also, it would be nice to have an option to check / uncheck (maybe in the Edit menu) to have all children nodes to have the color of the parent node by default. e.g. the user created a node, changed the color to blue, then when creating a child of that node it would get the color blue by default (and the user could still change the color later on).

And thank you for this amazing application.

I'm glad to hear you like Heimer! :)

I've been thinking about adding a settings menu where these kinds of things could be defined. That idea about inheriting the node color from the parent node is definitely interesting.
