Find faster gui framework besides matplotlib...

Hello Justin, I'm going to start using this library for DIC with Blackfly cameras. I wanted to thank you for developing and open-sourcing this effort. I'll be sure to donate any improvements I make to the package and would be happy to co-develop any improvements you had in mind.
