Cycle through relevant channels for selected APs in sniffpmkid?, `-l` argument doesn't do anything without `-d`

As far as I understand, the current implementation of sniffpmkid uses the -l switch to determine whether to cycle the channels, and whether the list for targeting deauths shall be used.

My problem with the current implementation is that there is no simple way to filter the sniffing to the selected AP list.

  • I do not understand what sniffpmkid -l is for. As far as I can tell, it doesn't do anything other than that it prevents you from sniffing altogether with nothing selected. It doesn't cycle through the channels like running with -d -l does.
  • Would it be possible to cycle only through the channels relevant to the selection when using -l?
  • Is it also possible to also be able filter the captured EAPoL and related traffic so only those matching the selected APs would get saved?

that's really sukc that sniffpmkid doesn't automatically cycle through channels in passive scan u know it would be great to set passive scan and go for a walk knowing that frequency change automatically like it done in hcxdumptool

upd never mind it can be done with scripts stages upd2 no it doesn't if hop channels pcap file gets broken and that's it upd3 it can be fixed with pcapfix utility
