Zoom sometimes broken

Environment:

  • OS: Arch Linux
  • qView version: 5.0

Information: Not sure what exactly is the cause, but sometimes zoom does not zoom where i'm currently looking, but instead into the middle of the picture Might be related to wayland, might be related to me moving qview between monitors, don't know exactly sadly :/

does it involve window focus? Possibly wayland doesn't allow getting the cursor position without window focus.

A simple test shows that qview with window focus and without window focus seems to zoom the same, so it's something else.

If you can find a procedure to easily reproduce the issue that would be needed for me to be able to diagnose it.

Something I have managed to find:

  • the "broken zoom" state can "just happen" out of nowhere while viewing a file
  • If in the "broken zoom" state, one has to reload an image in order to get rid of it.
