Unable to adjust susbtitle position

I am using Eminence on Kodi v20 on nVidia Shield Pro (android) The subtitles position is set to manual When trying to adjust the position in eminence, it doesn't move up and down at all. Tried with estuary (Kodi default) skin and it works fine, so I am using that as a workaround for now. Please kindly fix.
