It's not "fixing" any issues, just the addition of Blu-ray 3D and UltraHD logos in the /media/flags/monochrome/other/ folder :-)

But why add them if the skin doesn't reference them?

Because some of us use Kodi as a media manager and import all our discs into the library. We can then use the icons on sub-menu widgets :)
