Search keyboard disappears - search in widget

I am using widget, where i put folders and Search "button" (see on the attached video). When i press Search, keyboard disappears, but when i press Search again, then keyboard appears and i can write.

How bug happens:

  1. I Open Kodi
  2. I press Search
  3. Keyboard appears for a few seconds, and disappear
  4. I return back to the HOME
  5. Again I press search
  6. Now i can type

I also try it with Arctic Zephyr 2, and there is everything OK. Search works on the first time. Thanks

I'll confirm this bug, I have the same issue. Almost always happens on my first search. I'll loose the keyboard. Then I click search again and it is fine.

It happens the same to me.

A temporary solution is to use the superfavorites addon.

@jurialmunkey Can you fix this ?.
