right now it uses fanart from tmdb im assuming. im using jellyfin as my server with the jellycon addon and have fanart nfos there. when access my library from jellycon it uses my images but not when viewing with trakt. would i have to use jellyfin for kodi? that addon actually syncs the server to kodi instead of accessing the library like a normal addon. thanks.

Do you have this setting enabled? (you should if you want local artwork to be used)
TMDbHelper Settings > General > Get additional details from Kodi library database
does not seem to affect the artwork, nothing changes, still uses different fanart than local.
@jurialmunkey I think I noticed that doesn't use artwork from fanart.tv either. It's like it's set to only use tmdb artworks.
@jurialmunkey any ideas on why its not working?

I have a vague memory of needing to implement a workaround for calendar style views (Your Next Episodes, Last Fortnight etc.) where the DBID from the local library needed to be overridden to allow some settings to apply. It is likely related to that as the library artwork lookup works for other views (e.g. standard seasons/episodes) -- I need to dig back through the code as has been quite a while since I wrote that section.
On this, for me I’ve noticed when browsing tmdb helper normally (not via Trakt lists for example). All local artwork is used apart from TV seasons artwork, this seems to come from tmdb instead.
Get additional details from Kodi library database is turned on.
any fix to this yet?
Sorry because it's not related and also related in a way.
How do I get date added, descending list of your next episodes? It shows my last watched episodes on page 2, while on page 1, it shows the episodes I haven't watched in a while. How can I sort it from latest to oldest?
"Context menu - browse sorted list" on the folder
"Context menu - browse sorted list" on the folder
I did not find this setting. Found, browse list.
Also, I have another question, How do I make TMDB Player only play from local Kodi directly? because I have synced Emby media files to my Kodi database. And now when i try to play via TMDB Helper, it keeps building player and plays the content, and it does it every time. So how can I skip the building part?
And where can we ask questions about TMDB Helper?
