Flaky mouse behaviour with the Jitsi videochat plugin.

When the Jitsi video call is active, resizing the Jitsi pane causes the mouse to lock up. Please watch Setting-up-Jitsi-demo.mp4.zip to see my clumsy workaround to permit resizing the videochat pane/sidebar/tab fluidly.

Ideally, JupyterLab should be configurable to start up with a geometry something like this (to allow easy resizing of the panes):

I don't know what causes the mouse getting stuck; likely there is some contention for priority of mouse input when a Jitsi call is active.
