Does interrupt kills kernel?
I would like to clarify something. Does the 'Interrupt kernel' action kills xeus-cling kernel? I guess it would be consistent with underlining cling
interpreter behavior, where Ctrl+C will cause cling
to exit.
I would like to find a way for xeus-cling
to be able to be interrupted without losing previously defined variables or, if the former is not possible, to put a warning in documentation.
Sounds like a bug to me, it does look like interrupting the kernel results in the kernel dying. But this should not happen.
