`term` role tooltips disappear when the mouse cursor is hidden by OS

My desktop environment (sway + gnome-shell) hides my cursor after 5 seconds. If I'm hovering a term, the definition disappears at the same time as my cursor. 5 seconds may not be enough time to read a definition! This happens with all other browser tooltips I've tried, but those are usually 1-2 words, so I never noticed before.

This may be unresolvable within MyST 😭 This may not happen in other operating systems or other browsers. I figured it would help to drop this here just in case there's a way to work around it for the special case of long-form content, or in the sad case there is not a workaround, for other impacted users to be able to find it when they search.

Request: Can someone test this in another OS environment? Does this happen for you, too? I'm especially curious if this is a weird Wayland-only thing. Does it happen in i3 + gnome-shell?
