Featured Image Banner in Book Theme

I'm writing textbooks with mystmd. It'd be great to have a featured image banner for each chapter title. WordPress has a feature like this for websites where accessible text titles can overlay images. I haven't used it, but the mystmd article theme seems to have banner image capability.

Proposal

  1. allow banner at page frontmatter level, so each page can have a different banner.
  2. support banner frontmatter in book-theme.
