Righthand navigation items do not always highlight after clicking

Navigate to https://book.the-turing-way.org/collaboration/informal-chats#schedule-the-coffee-chat

Click on any of the bottom right-hand navigation items.

The page scrolls, but the clicked item is not highlighted.

Having implemented these before, I can make a good guess as to why this is happening, but I still feel it's a confusing inconsistency from a UI perspective.
