mouse pointer gets trapped at internal window in resize

Often when gvim is focused and I try to move the mouse out of the window, the pointer gets trapped at edge of the text.

This is with gvim embedded using XEmbed.

Sorry but I'm not even remotely familiar with the configuration. I only use terminal vim and macvim, and doesn't have the problem.

I can reproduce the issue on a fairly bland Arch Linux + gvim (+ KDE) config (haven't tried a minimal config yet).
