Account Creation and Adding Alternatives In-Website

I know some moderation is requires, but I believe that the project will grow so much faster if users could add alternatives within the website, rather than creating an issue for such purpose. So far there are almost 150 issues, some of them from February 2020 and chances are they will still be there until a long, long time.

Also, I believe is counterproductive to only give recommendations to closed source products/services/software, since there are a lot of reasons as of why someone would want to find an alternative to X or Y application. For example, someone created an issue for Android, which is an open source project, but which has a lot of privacy issues, and like this, there are probably a lot of other situations where the same happens, or something similar. Maybe someone just wants an alternative to Z libre software because they don't find it aesthetic enough, or because it doesn't fulfil its necessities according to usage, or else.

I'm working on a new version of Opensource.builders where users can make accounts and add alternatives directly. I'll keep you updated once it is launched and ready to use. Appreciate your advice.
