We may should introduce some additional value:

Standardization over Fiddling

Idea

Through introduction of standards we encourage automation and by that abstraction of interaction which can simplify the UX/DevX. E.g. buildpacks standardize containers and application runtimes. Through them Cloud Foundry and heroku can simplify application management.

It also helps people to onboard to a software project if it uses with well-known standards were possible.
