Thank you for saving me time. One small suggestion: if the website offered a more intuitive drag-and-drop feature like this https://www.chatpdf.com/, that would be wonderful. And why hasn’t Apple fixed this yet?

Sadly, the program doesn't always recover all lost annotations, but it's still very helpful.
