HTTP error 404

Open Moto1987 opened this issue 11 months ago • 4 comments

I have a Nextcloud Snap installation running on my Homesever and have the PhoneTrack app running on an Android device with Android 7.0.

Unfortunately the data is not sent to my Nextcloud. When I install the PhoneTrack app on a newer device, the data is transferred.

Is the Android version too old?

Can I fix this somehow?

I have the same issue with my Huawei Media Pad Lite 3 under Android 7. I have the error "Timeout when waiting for certificate trustworthiness decision". I think it's because Android 7 does not have the recent certificate that the Java TrustManager could use. Would it be possible to add an option to bypass the trust ssl ?

Keep in mind the Android app is a separate app: https://gitlab.com/eneiluj/phonetrack-android

Android app hasn't been updated in 5 years, I bet that's a problem. I am also receiving error 404, Nextcloud hosted on Hetzner. Without a way to use this on mobile, it's all quite useless for my use case, unless I am missing something -which is quite possible- and the PhoneTrack Android app isn't necessary.

There are various client (Android & iOS) apps:
