Show links in fixed locations

Instead of the link window being placed willy nilly can you have all links reveled at a fixed location like top corner or bottom left ? It's very distracting.

This extension was borned like for fun and I never had an actual goal for it. Although I'm open for PRs. Feel free to propose a change and I'll be happy to evaluate it. Thank you in advance.
