Can I use this extension to integrate VS2017 build tools into VS2010 IDE?

I want to use the latest MS compilers (msvc2017 etc.) in a faster and more convenient VS2010 IDE. Can I use this extension to integrate VS2017 (and future) build tools into VS2010 IDE?

I have no idea I'm afraid. This was a project to add GCC, Clang and Emscripten build support to Visual Studio 2010 - you will probably be looking at a complete rewrite of this, whichever way you go through.
