The hls-hlint-plugin in Hackage and git seems the same, so it seems to be some kind of dependency issue, though I am wondering how it is possible to build.

Okay with the final workaround - disabling the hlint plugin - I could build 1.8.0.0 for Fedora ghc-8.10.7 (it does build with ghc-9.0, though not ghc-9.2). https://download.copr.fedorainfracloud.org/results/petersen/haskell-language-server/fedora-rawhide-x86_64/04843979-haskell-language-server/haskell-language-server.spec

Can you please also revise https://hackage.haskell.org/package/hls-stylish-haskell-plugin ?

One thing I didn't understand is why `copyPackage` doesn't install docfiles (other than license)? Or is that the expected behaviour?

This is probably too late for 3.8? But let me try to return to it though before too long.

I opened haskell-streaming/streaming-utils#13 for the streaming-utils failure

I will try to see if closing and reopening may trigger re-running the workflow

+1 from me too: I am finding the learning curve bit steep (thinking in terms of shell). It could also just be on the wiki or a separate git repo...

[Here is another misc example](https://gist.github.com/juhp/4d67070e3a4f0f52b8bc6ae07ddbcd11) (my first real use of turtle:- feedback very welcome)

Thanks! :-) Update: I put your suggestions into https://pagure.io/haskell-sig/blob/master/f/scripts/el7merge.hs
