Can't build any branch other than boneMaster

Hi Juan! Thank you so much for making this process easier for smoothbrains like me.

I am able to build BoneMaster but can never switch to one of the other branches like BoneMaster300 or BoneMaster293. When I try to via:

"git reset --hard boneMaster/boneMaster300"

I get this error:

"fatal: ambiguous argument 'boneMaster/boneMaster300': unknown revision or path not in the working tree."

When I try:

"git pull boneMaster boneMaster300"

I get back:

"fatal: couldn't find remote ref boneMaster300"

I have tried every naming combination (with or without underscore etc) and try to match the actual naming in the branch listing but it never works. What stupid thing am I missing?

Also - is there an advantage to using BoneCloth300 or BoneCycles300? I use Cmake GUI to locate CUDA/Optix libs already.

The branch is not BoneMaster300, that’s only the repo “BoneMaster”, the branch is without capital letters “bonemaster300”

the other two branches are just where I apply patches separately, to have them under control, but they merge in bonemaster300, but the cloth modification is out of date and I will probably not update it since no one seems to use it, and it’s a little bit hidden :)

Tell me if with the correct branch name it works, BTW it depends on the Blender repo, follow the instructions we have in the wiki to compile this branches :)

@giacometti777 have you been able to build it?

So sorry Juan I haven't had time to try again. I had this issue before and I swear I tried all different capitalizations etc but it still wouldn't work. I am suspecting I am missing/assuming something basic. I will try again and let you know!

Heck this guide, may be a bit outdated, but the general idea is there, remember that this depends on the original blender repo, this is just another remote for that :)
