qutebrowser-profile currently does not work when also using psd (profile sync daemon)

Do you know, psd ?

Profile-sync-daemon - ArchWiki

It basicly symlinks your

/home/USER/.local/share/qutebrowser -> /run/user/1000/USER-qutebrowser

So it runs much faster in memory

This is an essential tool, especially if you're running Qutebrowser (or Firefox or others) in older less capable hardware. In combination with a "profile manager" like "qutebrowser-profile" it is a fantastic tool.

Currently "qutebrowser-profile", by the way it is written and designed does not work when psd is active.

Example, the menus doesnt fill with the existing profiles or you get errors like

dirname: missing operand

I suspect this might not be that difficult to change the scripts, but I have no idea where to start.

Any interest in supporting this ? Thanks in advance.

Apologies for the slow response to this. qutebrowser-profile is now re-implemented in Python, a longed for wishlist item of mine.

Could you re-test this with the latest version and see if it persists? The approach to separating profiles is the same so it may still be a problem.
