Nanopolish Eventalign

Hi,

I would like to know if the command nanopolish eventalign changes the file size/content of the sequencing_summary file we specify in the command. If so, why? Since we are not writing the output in the sequencing_summary file.

The command used by me was: nanopolish eventalign --reads --bam --genome --scale-events --signal-index --summary --threads 50 >

After I ran this command, the size of the sequencing_summary file also changed. I need some clarity on this.
