Looks like all the checks/unit tests have passed, is it possible to get/produce some evidence of integration or manual smoke/regression tests?

Hi @amc1804 Thanks for reporting this compatibility issue with the requests-oauthlib 1.4.0 release on PyPI. I've confirmed the metadata seems to incorrectly indicate Python 2.7 support, which is causing problems...

This is a great place to document, we can flesh this deployment/releases section out for now and see how that serves the community/maintainers.

I can take a closer look this weekend at this PR. At first blush though it will need an accompanying test or updates to existing tests.
