Request. Link new ks to redirect note

Is it possible to create a link icon that would then link the 'new' ks increment to a new redirected ks increment? Hard to explain. When you hit the new ks, it automatically increments (c0 to c#0 etc). When you are redirecting this to say c5, it would be awesome that when you hit 'new', the redirected info increments also like the ks does. Cheers!
