Note this is gnome behaviour (hence labelled as `upstream`) - happens with or without PaperWM in my tests.

On latest `develop` with Gnome 44 I can no longer reproduce this. Are other seeing this? Planning on closing this in a month or so (assuming no responses).

Closing as been more than a month since couldn't reproduce (and hasn't been reported by others) and reporter hasn't seen this since then (see last comment).

Is this still happening for anyone? I haven't seen this happen. Am assuming due to an old bug or change in either your distro, gnome, or an older PaperWM implementation.

Closing this issue as no longer valid, given no confirmed cases after a month.

An option to avoid this in the future is to add the `/org/gnome/settings-daemon/plugins/media-keys` schema to be checked by PaperWM for conflicts (we manage other schema's for conflicts). PaperWM will then...

P.S. if you set a media-keys keybind during runtime (that conflicts with a PaperWM key) - then PaperWM will notify you that that specific keybdind is being overriden.
