Images are not shown correctly on GTK app

Hello,

I tried this application and many other apps having Image component. The image is not shown correctly on GTK app. See image below: gtk_screen

While on UWP the image is shown correctly. uwp_screen

My configuration: Visual Studio 2017 on Windows 10. GTK Sharp 2.12

What version of Xamarin.Forms are you using? I will check it!

Hi @jsuarezruiz, I didn't change anything on the sample so I'm using the same versions. For Xamarin.Forms it's 3.1.0.697729

Hi @jsuarezruiz, any news about that? Also, do you have any idea about official release for Xamarin.Forms and GTK# to use Xamarin.Forms on Linux? Thank you.

@anaselhajjaji Could you create an issue on https://github.com/xamarin/Xamarin.Forms/issues? This is a regression, was working on old versions. Xamarin.Forms GTK Backend is a community effort. There are official Xamarin.Forms.Platform.GTK NuGets packages but is supported by the community https://github.com/xamarin/Xamarin.Forms/wiki/Platform-Support
