google input tools data in survey plugin

Indic language data entered, by using Google input tools extension in Chrome, in the 'text' type input box of jsPsychSurvey plugin is not getting saved at the end of trial. The text is visible in the box but its not even available in console after trial ends. Problem vanishes when after selecting a value from the input tools I press 'backspace'. Also there is no similar problem with jsPsychSurveyText.
