OSF Personal Access Token Error
I'm having trouble connecting my osf account to DataPipe. I followed the instructions and links on the Getting Started page, but when I paste my Personal Access Token into the DataPipe settings, I get an 'invalid osf token' error. I did notice that osf changed their UI quite a bit in the last few days, and it looks like the PATs they're giving now are shorter (?) than the older ones, based on comparison with a colleague's. Wonder if that could have something to do with it? Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
Hi @BranPap
There's a bug in the new OSF interface and the PATs that are being displayed are not actually the PAT. I've gotten in touch with folks at COS and they are aware of the issue and are working on getting a fix deployed soon.
@futa-ikeda
Ah, okay! I'll keep any eye out for that, then. Thanks for the quick response @jodeleeuw!
As @jodeleeuw mentioned, we are working on a fix on our end for this! Apologies for the inconvenience. The fix for that should be rolling out later this week and I will comment back here when it is out.
The fix should be live on osf.io! Again, so sorry for the inconvenience! @BranPap
Thanks so much, @futa-ikeda ! Everything looks great!
