Kind of like SSI

I realized this and wondered if someone had implemented it in node, found this: https://github.com/67726e/node-ssi

And I was just about to open an enhancement issue to add the SSI syntax to preprocess...

Although, I still think it would be a great feature. Until then, node-ssi solves my need in the short term.
