Note: for us, this meant we couldn't see the resources for the application. This wasn't some trivial thing. Eventually the problem went away, but it took a long time.

@alexmt: Are you opposed to just removing that line? And in the interim, can the description be updated to suggest shooting the application controller?
Is the fix for the controller to ensure that the redis it's talking to is the same one it last talked to?

This PR is odd, nothing in the changed file mentions a privacy policy
@TK221 the description no longer matches the change (the title says 2.2.3, the description 3.4.0, but the change is to 3.5.0). @thyeggman ignoring the above, is anything blocking this?
