🙋 Have a Question - @Relequestual , @jdesrosiers , @benjagm , @Honyii

  • I’m interested in contributing to JSON Schema and would like to discuss this in our upcoming meeting on 4th November.
  • If it’s not already on the agenda, could you please guide me on the correct path to become a contributor to JSON Schema?
  • I’d also like to understand:
    • Which areas currently need contributors the most (e.g., specification, tooling, documentation, or test suite)?
    • Whether there are any prerequisite steps such as joining their Slack, reviewing open issues, or signing a contributor agreement.
    • How our current project work could align with JSON Schema’s roadmap or open proposals.

@sonu-ind-dev, the meeting on the 4th is an Office Hours meeting, which is the perfect place to ask questions like this. There's no agenda for those meetings. Just show up and ask questions.

This issue is for a different kind of meeting, the Open Community Working Meeting. You're welcome to come to this one too, but the Office Hours meetings are a better place for the kind of questions you're asking.

Thank you, @jdesrosiers — your explanation has really helped to clarify things for me. As I’m new to the project, could you please include me in the Office Hours meetings? I’m still learning about how everything works here.

If you have any suggestions or documentation for new contributors, I’d appreciate it if you could point me in the right direction. Thanks again for your support!
