Hi,

just to let you know, it seems as initial MPRIS support has landed in Firefox 75 a week ago.

Best wishes

Did you try it? I'm running 75.0b4 now but don't see it working yet, not sure what I'm missing

For now it's only in the nightly, however there seems to be some problem with the play-pause functionality (at least for me)

I'm on 75.0 right now and mpris functionality does not seem to be enabled. Playing a video firefox will not show up on playerctl -l.

Works after toggling media.hardwaremediakeys.enabled.
