Starting a file compare directly from command line

is it possible to open two files and directly compare them from command line?

somehow like this: notepad++.exe -compare test1.txt test2.txt

First: I want to customize the font color. just as beyond compare does. Second: I want to run notepad++ from command line with this plugin. For example in svn GUI can config "c:\np++.exe -xxx" %1 %2 ......
