Consider real-time editing mode

If we can do it safely, it would be useful to have a mode where changes made in the editor were immediately reflected back to the module. The tricky part is working out how that affects multi-value changes (e.g. instrument change affecting bank, instrument and vedit, or mfx choice affecting the rest of the parameters).
