Better feedback for XHR requests

When checking/unchecking boxes in Settings, or when clicking buttons like 'Unblock selected' or 'Block all and subscribe', there isn't good feedback that there's a request in progress. On fast connections this isn't very noticeable, but on slow connections it can be confusing. Add some form of spinner or other progress indicator.
