Missing cache invalidation?

Today I had the joy of experimencing this "impossible" error:

Deleting my build cache file (buildCache.json) solved the problem. I have now disabled browserify-incremental, and I haven't had the problem since.

I have trouble figuring out what's going on from the video. Can you compare your code against what your browser's devtools think the page's code is?

I will do so, though, I'm currently ill (in a long term way), so it won't be right away...

sorry, I've been ill for a long while, and I'm not going to look into this now. I took the easier path of simply disabling it ..
