New Feature: metaballs

Hi,

I always thought metaballs would be a fun addition.

I've done the attached jscad file, ported from some C code I had:

Metaball coordinates are specified in normal world coordinates,
but to choose the resolution of the finished model you must
specify `resolution`. If resolution is 4 and you have a metaball

If amount of grid squares is too high (>128 in any direction) the grid
will be resized and resolution may not be honoured.

The grid is usually made slightly bigger than the metaballs to avoid
overflow - however if you're using a lot of metaballs nearby then 
the final size will be larger than the size of the individual balls
and the grid may be too small. If that's the case, specify a larger
`border` value.

Is this something you'd like added? Where would be the best place to put it? I guess ideally a separate file, but everything else seems to be in openjscad.js?

@gfwilliams Welcome! This is a cool addition to OpenJSCAD.org.

We are currently in the middle of reorganizing the code into smaller libraries/modules, hoping that others will find it easier to contribute. Hopefully, you'll find one of those appropriate for the "meatballs". https://github.com/jscad

It seems that that scad-api may be the right place to contribute a PR.

We certainly hope so but there are some issues still. Hopefully, we'll have some better documentation on how and where to contribute soon.
