We don't really make subdomain determinations prior to having a PR created and being able to see the actual content in question. Generally though, if a site is just using/built with JavaScript, it probably isn't going to be accepted -- JavaScript is the language of the web, almost everything uses it. However, if it is something that other JavaScript developers specifically might use, such as a JavaScript library (in this case for crawling the web and serving a search engine), that is more likely to be accepted.
