Extend to over internet

are you planning to extend this app work over internet?

Well, i thought about it, but it will require significant amount of work.

  1. transmit raw sound over internet is not a good idea, we need to add audio compression
  2. app will need to connect to some central server which is supposed to be implemented as well

Never tried. Probably will work if VPN connects 2 networks with the same IP subnets. The main problem is multicast DNS which is used for device discovery and should be properly transmitted over VPN as well.

Please don't. If this changes requires a central server, it will kill the KISS of this app.
