Are there plans to upgrade js-data-angular to be compatible with JSData v3.x?

Possibly. js-data-angular itself is really just a small amount of "angular" sugar around js-data.

Here's an example of Angular 1.x + JSData 3.x: https://github.com/js-data/js-data-examples/tree/master/client/angular1

If that's the case it should be easy to support js-data 3.0
