What level of knowledge is expected from the reader to understand?

Just read through chapter 1 for the first time. In the beginning I expected at least one sentence such as "To easier understand the concepts introduced in this book some previous knowledge about JavaScript, C++ or other programming language is expected. The topics introduced might be hard to understand for someone new to programming.

If you have previous programming experience but no Qt experience this book is the perfect starting point."

Perhaps redundant and perhaps not what you had in mind when writing the book. This is closely related to "target audience" and I don't know who you have in mind when writing the QmlBook.
