How should internationalisation or translation work for this book?

I think there will be many people want to contribute under this task, translate it into other languages. Then any guide line for this purpose?

Hmm, good point. We should have thought about this earlier. In general the infrastructure would support this. No guideline currently. I would wait until a) the chapters are more stable b) we have decided to open the repository. We want to keep us the option open to release this as a printed book. So we need to be a little bit carefully on the licensing part. Unfortunately. Also we can't promise a date when (if) we would open the repository. Sorry for this

OK, @jryannel , have seen your example commits. You guys are using .rst file, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ReStructuredText .

After google, I think there is solution for .rst->.pot file, then translators could translate them in .po files. Just not very sure about the final pdf/epub output based on them.

And the link is http://sphinx-doc.org/latest/intl.html
