Testing instructions appear to be broken

There is no option to "Save Workspace As..." in the F1 menu (Linux) and none of the callbacks for file operations are being invoked. Launched with --enable-proposed-api jrieken.ftp-example and placed a breakpoint in _nextRequest() which is never reached.

Is this only intended to work with the insider builds?
