MorePlayerModels issues

Open haolink opened this issue 5 years ago • 0 comments

Hello Vivecraft team,

I am trying to use ViveCraft together with MorePlayerModel (see their webpage ). MorePlayerModels functions fine on standard Forge servers (Sponge breaks it but it's fixable) - however, I've run into the issue that customisations you make with your own model do not render at all on "Vivecraft enhanced" player entities. This means that you cannot attach wings to your models or similar things - while you can however see mods which Non-VR players have applied to their own model.

I was wondering if Vivecraft overwrites the player renderer for VR users so that the vanilla renderer which is modified by MorePlayerModels cannot be injected anymore?

One of the main features which users wish to use would be to resize their own models. While Vivecraft does allow you to change the World Scale this sadly isn't reflected onto your character model - which might be an alternative to using MPM if you can allow scaling of the player model.

We're using Minecraft 1.12.2 together with Vivecraft v7 and the latest server mod Jenkins build (March 2018).

Thank you for helping,
