Replace consecutive spaces and newlines in wiki links

I think, it would be more consistent to replace multiple consecutive spaces and newlines in wiki links with just one replacement char when mapping links to file names. One obvious situation I can think of is when a wiki link with spaces is line-wrapped in an indented paragraph.
