Retropie runcommand options

Hi @jrassa I am aware that this is just a mirror so I don't want to spam this with feature request. However since I tried EmulationStation in Windows I am missing an important feature that Retropie seems to offer (I don't use retropie, just saw it in their documentation https://retropie.org.uk/docs/Runcommand/) which is the ability of setting a specific core for a specific game and also switch the core for the system.

Would it make sense to try to bring something like runcommand to Windows as an extra Windows-only feature so we have the full functionality on Windows too?

@jrassa - just want to say two things: 1) this is such a cool product, I noticed EmulationStation's website states it hasn't been updated in 5 years, then I found your version and am so grateful. It's amazing THANK YOU! 2), I too am wondering about @diegopau 's request. For me, this will come in most handy when I put my arcade roms in the general "arcade" folder. (keeps things nice and tidy) ... The runcommand is clutch here because I can then assign the different emulators (mame version) to launch the games. Would love to see this added to your build. And if not, thanks for everything thus far!!

Any ideas or workarounds for this yet?
