Custom Filters - should they be covered in the plugins section?

Thought Question: should custom filters (ex: $("div:myCustomFilter")) be covered under plugins or elsewhere on the Learn Site? I can whip up an article but not sure where everyone thinks the best home for it might be.

I don't really consider these to be jQuery plugins. It's not modifying $.fn, but $.expr. This seems like a topic for misc.

I do consider these as jQuery plugins. Take it literally: it's something that plugs into jQuery. It extends jQuery with custom features.
