Feature: JSON viewer
I often combine jq with fx as jq is a great way to transform/filter JSON and fx is amazing as a JSON viewer. But what would be even better is if jq would have the same level of JSON viewer capability as fx.
From view point of a maintainer, we've already paid lots of effort to maintain portability for existing features (and have to keep paying so on). I'm afraid bringing terminal interface into jq is horribly difficult to maintain, especially considering support for multiple platforms (bringing difficult features may discourage maintainers and increases security risks). There are already various and well-maintained tools, including jiq, yiq, jnv, jqp, etc. Users can choose such great tools, I feel no benefit for including this feature in jq.
